Your name will appear in the confirmed competitors list to be displayed on the race Website. Please check the site.  I wish to apply for a Rotary Guaranteed Entry Place in return for my pledge to raise and pass to Rotary a minimum of £1000 or £2000.

I understand that to obtain a Guaranteed place I must provide a commitment bond of £150 which is fully refundable when I have completed the race and/or my pledged target is submitted to the Rotary Charity fund.
The commitment bond as with all monies raised will be held
in an account that has been established solely to hold charitable funds raised in connection with the Ironman UK race and any ancillary fund raising events. The account is under the control of the Rotary Club of Sherborne. The club holds charitable status - Registered charity number 253064  The Rotary Club of Sherborne Benevolent Fund.

Note:

1.a. If the withdrawal occurs as a result of an injury or illness causing permanent disability the Bond will be repaid in full.
1.b. If withdrawal occurs because of the death of a competitor the Bond will be repaid in full to the executors of your estate.

This is conditional upon you also having notified the race office in accordance with their terms and conditions.
2.b.Subsequent to "The Date" or if no date is specified: should you have been issued with race wear for your personal use you will be invoiced for the full cost of any racewear that has been provided to you and for the Entry Fee that will have been paid for your place.
(I) If no funds have been received into the charity fund then no part of the commitment bond will be returned or credited against any liabilities you may have with us.
(II) IIf non-returnable donations have been received into the charity fund the sums received will be taken into account in computing the amount of the commitment bond to be returned or the sum that may be due to reimburse the Charity funds for expenditure incurred in providing any race wear,  entry fee or other goods. The calculation of any sum to be returned or of any sum that may be due will  be undertaken by either the Rotary Management team or the Rotary Charities Manager for the Event.
